School Announcement

Dear St. John Lutheran School Families, Community Members, and Friends,

After much prayer, reflection, and careful consideration, we must share that effective May 30, 2025, St. John Lutheran School, Preschool, and Tiger's Den Childcare Center will close as we begin a season of renewal and transformation.

This decision was not made lightly. We have been blessed to serve the Defiance community by preparing children academically in a safe and caring environment, nurturing their growth in faith, knowledge, and character. We remain committed to our mission of helping children grow as disciples of Christ.

During this transitional period, we will be focusing on rebranding and reimagining our ministry to better serve our community through intentional missional outreach. Our hope and prayer is to reopen our doors with renewed vision and purpose, continuing our tradition of Christ-centered education while expanding our impact.

We deeply value the trust you have placed in us over the years and are profoundly grateful for your support of our school community. We ask for your prayers and patience as we embark on this journey of transformation.

We look forward to sharing updates about our progress and plans for the future as they develop. Our mission to follow Christ's example and prepare children for a life of discipleship remains unchanged, even as our methods evolve.
